This week we are taking a look at the Pittsburgh Steelers Regular Season Wins Over or Under 8.5. With all the offseason misfortunes the steelers have had, people seem to have forgotten about them. It is hard to believe but the Pittsburgh Steelers, six-time super bowl champs, are being overlooked. The main reason is because of the division they play in. Coming from the tough AFC North, the Ravens and the Bengals are recieveing most of the post season hype. Big Ben will be out 4 games, confident the suspension will be reduced, and the steelers can be 3-1 by the time the steelers come back. They also have their most important weapon, polamalu. So, lets break it down.
Week 1 - loss
The steelers open at home with the Falcons coming to town. Two contender teams but unfortunately the steelers will be missing big ben. I think that is going to be the difference in this matchup.
Week 2- loss
The steelers go south to visit the Titans week 2. A very tough game and a rematch of last years contest, in which Pit won 13-10. This year, Ten gets their revenge.
Week 3 - Win
Make no mistake, this defense is good enough to win games without big ben and they will show it week 3 against tampa bay. T
Week 4 - Loss
This is another game that could go either way but the fact steelers are missing big ben is going to be the difference. The steelers will suffer a tough home loss against the Ravens.
Week 5 - bye week
Week 6 - Win
Ben is back! and they are going to get some revenge from the browns kicking their butt last year. Expect a big show from the steelers with their main man back in action.
Week 7 - Win
A possible playoff matchup, the steelers vs the dolphins, will be a tough game. Mia has added some great additions offseason, henne can pass and they can run. But, how far can brown,williams run on the steelers d? This game will rely more on henne to win it and that is why the Steelers D will step up and steal one down in Mia.
Week 8 - Loss
The steelers are going to have too play catch up all day against the saints. They can do it but Brees will notch up one more TD than Ben and take the win.
Week 9 - Win
Historically, the steelers have peformed much better on the road @ paul brown stadium. After the bengals swept them and the divison last year, Steelers will be hungry to even they score. They will get it done.
Week 10 - Win
The Pats are coming to heinz field and further re-establishes the tough schedule AFC north has this year. Both teams can score but the Steelers D is unmatched.
Week 11- Win
After Oak shocked the steelers last year you can bet your bottom dollar Pit is going to crush them. Oak is finally going in the right direction but the will take a loss here.
Week 12 - Win
Back to back weeks the steelers will be able to take advantage of two medicore teams. The bills do not have much hope this year.
Week 13 - Win
Time for some revenge from an early season loss. Pit goes to Baltimore and pays them back for the early season beatdown.
Week 14 - Loss
Pit will a lot of energy into beating Bal, but now they have the same scenario working against them. Cin comes to town and takes the win.
Week 15 - Win
The jets will blitz big ben all day and ben will do what he always does. But what happens when the steelers blitz sanchez? Steelers win.
Week 16 - Win
Its coming down to the home stretch and the steelers will abuse the new QB matt moore and force a win.
Week 17- Win
The browns are back and they will put up a fight. Last game of the season, they will give it all they got but it will not be enough to stop the steelers from winning.
